Vistaregency opened in 1974 as a single villa on a quiet bay, and expanded only when we knew we could grow without losing what made it worth the journey. 52 years on, we keep 90 rooms and suites, three kitchens and three gaming rooms, and we still decline more business than we accept.
Luxury, for us, is not marble and gold leaf. It is the second coffee you never had to request, the driver who recalls your name, the table held an hour past closing because the conversation was still alive. We hire for that instinct and we retain the people who have it.
Most of our guests return, and that is the entire strategy. We would rather 65 percent of a smaller circle come back each year than pursue a larger one that never does.
